Ambiance Bar and Restaurant opened its doors on the 28th of December 2019 with a grand event attended by local celebrities and hosted by a well-known internet personality. The atmosphere was vibrant, and guests enjoyed socializing with various people. It was a perfect opportunity to engage and network, officially introducing our brand to everyone.

Unfortunately, the pandemic struck, and our restaurant had to close for nine challenging months. The food and tourism industry suffered greatly, and people were forced to stay cautious due to the uncertainties of Covid-19. Nevertheless, we stood by our employees, providing them with financial and morale support to overcome these difficult times.

In December 2020, we resumed our business operations, adhering to government mandates to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. With limited capacity, strict hygiene measures, social distancing, masks, and face shields, we maintained a safe environment. During this period, live entertainment and gatherings were restricted, leading to a decrease in customer footfall. Despite the challenges, we encouraged a skeleton workforce to keep the restaurant running.

Throughout the ups and downs, we remained resilient and took each step to revitalize the food and tourism industry. As soon as entertainment was allowed, we invited incredible local artists and live bands to uplift the spirits of our guests. This marked a cause for celebration as the business gradually picked up momentum.

In December 2021, another unforeseen event struck when super typhoon Odette devastated Cebu, causing massive damages, power outages, and disruptions to daily life. Despite the setback, we rallied together and extended assistance not only to our employees but also to those affected by the calamity. We donated solar lamps and Christmas groceries to bring some joy to families during these difficult times. After a temporary closure, we reopened the restaurant, offering food, drinks, and power to those in need.

In December 2022, after overcoming numerous challenges, we organized our first team outing since the pandemic began. Through team-building activities, we aimed to improve our customer service skills and foster cohesiveness among the staff. Additionally, we actively participated in community projects, including fire safety drills, to give back to the community that supported us.

Recognition came our way in May 2023 when Restaurant Guru awarded us as one of the recommended Bar and Restaurants in the metro. This accolade reinforced our commitment to providing quality service to our valued customers. We are determined to continue improving and staying true to our promises because our guests deserve nothing less.
